CPUC

  • CPUC (California Public Utilities Commission) makes the decisions by rating your existing gas and electric systems based on their condition.

  • Your local utility company will notify you on your status!

  • If you have existing plans or builds, that is helpful.

  • All costs are covered by the CPUC program except for common area costs i.e. clubhouse, pools, street light etc.

    Boudreau Utility Services (BUS) can provide you with an estimate prior to commitment.

  • There are 2 contractors needed to complete this construction.

    1) a TTM Contractor (To The Meter) is hired by the utility company.

    2) a BTM Contractor (Beyond the Meter) is hired by the park owner.

    • All BTM work is performed under the home.

    • All utility tie ins are completed under the house.

    • The only time entry into the home occurs is for testing purposes.

    • Outages are less than one hour.

  • Safety is the main benefit.

    Additionally,

    • The park will no longer have responsibility to maintain.

    • Utility company specialists take care of the gas and electric systems.

    • Residents can rely on 24/7 customer support.
